Before using NEOPAR®, I used a four shot puppy vaccination program consisting one straight canine parvovirus vaccine and three 5-way combination vaccines. I cannot count the number of puppies that I had personally vaccinated with this protocol that contracted a severe case of canine parvoviral enteritis. While the severity and duration of disease in vaccinated puppies may have been decreased, the disease continued to occur throughout our community.

Since using NEOPAR®, I have been amazed by the decreased incidence of canine parvovirus. Although I still regularly see canine parvoviral enteritis in unvaccinated dogs and puppies, I have never seen a case of canine parvoviral enteritis in puppies that have received 3 doses of NEOPAR®. I have found NEOPAR® to be very safe and effective in preventing canine parvovirus in an area that is inundated with this extremely virulent disease. Simply put, I am thrilled with my results since switching to NEOPAR® in the spring of 2007.
