PINAFORE

November 6, 2000

Dear Dr. Page,

I felt compelled to put in writing words that will confirm our conversations regarding the dreaded Parvo Virus. Hopefully, others who face this often fatal disease will be fortunate enough to be aware of your new vaccine "Neo Par".

The Purpose of this letter is a testimonial to your vaccine and the positive results that my dogs and pups have realized.

I have been breeding Standard Poodles since 1963 with over 100 Champions.  During 1999, I bred my Champion Rose to a wonderful Champion male for Minnesota, and she had a spectacular litter of 10 - they were everything I had hoped for and I was so excited!  You can imagine my shock when, at four weeks of age they developed the dreaded Parvo virus.  Vet care was immediate with all babies brought to the Veterinarian and given IV medications.  After 10 days of pain and care, only two of the ten puppies survived.  I was devastated at these results!  My dam's parvo titer, by Vet Test was adequate.  I was also advised by my Vet that I would need to stop all breeding for a period of at least six months due to the Parvo virus.

Ironically, I had heard of your new scientific development, namely "NeoPar" and traveled to see you.  When I came home again, I treated all the dogs - both adult and puppies with your new vaccine.  During this time my Ch. Rose had experienced a "silent heat", and was once again pregnant.  She had her pups within 4 months of the litter we lost, but having faithfully followed your preventative treatment plan with the "NeoPar" vaccine, the entire litter survived and there was no Parvo disease in the kennel.  I credit the puppies lives to your vaccine discovery and I have without a doubt, complete confidence in your treatment recommendations.

I have been alerting every breeder I know to this wonderful, new vaccine that you developed, and will continue to do so. Please feel free to use my experience to further advance the knowledge of all breeders concerning the benefit of using this new vaccine in their own breeding and vaccination plans.

Dr. Page, again I thank you for your dedication and knowledge. I truly believe that your vaccine was responsible for the health of Rose's litter and I will continue with this vaccine for all future litters.

Sincerely,
