Hurrah to Bob Page!

Sometimes we sit back and do not send credit to those that deserve it. Almost 18 months ago my Kennel was suffering from some type of fading puppy. I spent thousands on tests, necropsy, and antibiotics. It seemed nothing would or could help and nothing was going to do me any good at this point. I had lost by this time probably $10 thousand dollars in puppies, and veterinary and laboratory tests. There I was, not knowing just what to do. Losing puppies between four and five weeks with no sign of illness, just when you think you were out of the woods the stools would change and the next day puppies were dead.

Then one evening I made the ever-grateful call to Dr. Page in Tennessee. It was just a horrible night, I'd just lost a litter of beautiful shih tzu puppies and now more puppies were sick! I couldn't find the phone number and didn't even realize what state Dr. Page was in! I finally found his web page and just sent messages and asked for a return call. I thought, "Yea sure I would get a call back…" I sent a message "HELP ME DR. PAGE". I had a phone call in about an hour. He was just Wonderful. He told me what to do, which his instructions were against all things I had ever thought or believed would help my puppies. And HURRAAAAH! The next days things happened just like he said they would! Do you believe his answer was right there? NEOPAR, NEOPAR, NEOPAR. I lost one more puppy after that night. I did just like I was told by Dr. Page and things happened just like he said it would. I started a new program of vaccinating and to this day not one more mysterious death or even a sick puppy!

Then on October 13, 2002 a dear friend of mine called with what sounds like the same problem I'd had. Off to the vet we went and yes it was positive for parvovirus. She had her puppies four to five weeks down the road and everything should have been fine for her. But it wasn't. Here I stood with Dr. Page's knowledge and first hand information as to what to do. The Vet stated, "It worked for you and it should work for her!" That is exactly right! We repeated the program I'd been given by Dr. Page eighteen months earlier, and not to our surprise, my friend saved EACH PUPPY!

The moral to my story…Listen to Dr. Page. Even if it does not sound like this has happened to you----take the time to try it. If more people used NeoPar and other preventative measures they would be much more profitable and happier kennel owners. Often times we think we know it all when in fact we know nothing.
